In response to an increase in US building materials exports from the US to Korea, CTED and EBPA are organizing a WA State/EBPA pavilion at the February 18-23, 2009 Kyung Hyang (KH) Housing Fair in Korea. The KH Fair, which began in 1986, is Korea’s longest running and most well known construction and building materials trade fair. In 2007, the show hosted 750 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors.Booth packages and table top display space in the EBPA/CTED booth is now available. CTED and EBPA will once again offer booth and catalog space for WA companies interested in participating in the 15th Annual Architecture and Construction Materials Show (ACMS) in Tokyo, March 3-6, 2009. Last year, over 150,000 visitors attended the show. Through the generosity of a CTED Trade Fair Grant, the Spokane International Trade Alliance (ITA) is organizing a Sustainable Energy Business Development Mission to the European Wind Energy Show. Over 6000 people—including government and wind energy industry leaders—from 80 countries will attend. Following the show, the mission will fly to Copenhagen, Denmark, for additional one-on-one business development meetings. We will then visit Malmo, Sweden, one of the world’s top ten “greenest” cities.
